You need to go to a place that has a license to sell weed. So it's not like you can get it at a grocery store or gas station like u can with beer.
And for now no this won't change how I get it because the lines are very long and I'm sure the prices are higher than if you bought off the street.
And of course since this is Illinois and we love taxing shit our taxes on edibles will be double that of other states where it is legal.
Funny thing is though my mom texted me earlier today asking me which strain she should buy because she plans to go next week to one of the places you can buy it lol.
I was 17 and my gf and I had smoked a joint in my room and then we left and went to the mall lol. While I was gone my mother had gone up to the 2nd floor to get laundry from my brothers room and she smelled pot coming from my room and went in and broke into my locked drawer and found my weed and bowl lol.
I was not grounded but she did say I needed to throw out by bowl and the weed and I had to do it in front of her. But ha I was clever...I had the weed in a ziploc bag so I put the bowl in there too and sealed it and said "there all in one bag" and threw it in the garbage in front of her and she took it out. Later that night I sneaked out into the alley to the garbage and retrieved the bag.

I wouldn't want to try weed again, I'd be worried I'd become really lazy and just eat all the time
I wish weed gave me the munchies it would help me gain some weight, but the medications I take are appetite killers and it seems even weed can't help with that so most of the time it doesn't make me very hungry. Though it will give me at least some appetite, but it just feels like normal hunger.
This is partly why I like to go all out for dinner because it's really the only meal I have.
To put it in context, the previous first day record for sales in this country was...3.2 million lol. So we just tied for #1.
Over 400 million is expected to be spent on weed this year in Illinois. 20 years from now this state will have made billions from this.
This is something they should have done 20 years ago.
