I voted remain, but once the vote was over, I didn't complain at all and was committed to the decision the public made. Skip like two / three years (however long it was) and I ended up voting Brexit Party in the general election (mostly as a protest vote, Labour were guaranteed a win in my area so no point voting tactically against them). I'm still undecided on the feasible aspects of completing such a complex process, but I wasn't a fan of living in a state in an increasingly authoritarian superstate / empire, so yeah, you could say I'm pretty happy with it. Doesn't feel all that different, but I'm pleased it happened finally.
Ah so you do acknowledge the EU is authoritarian? This fact is why it has puzzled me so many wanted to stay.

My new plan in life is to alienate everyone close to me by pretending to be a massively pretentious narcissist. I say 'new', I've been doing it for nearly a decade, and by 'pretend' I mean 'by being what I am', but I'm really going to put pedal to the metal from here on out tbh
