It had a bunch of diff foods on a page to scratch and sniff.

But I mean I had read those "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" books so I was pretty much used to horrifying things from books meant for kids.

Oh shit, I was wrong! It wasn't sardines, it was anchovies. Cuz Clifford gets into a pizzeria.

Still gross.

MG, My sister joined the group about being ant in an ant colony

Why is this a thing

lol wait wut

piggle troll her by singing "the ants going marching one by one, hurrah hurrah"

So I sent an email to kraft the other day. Asking about the logo.
Here is that email.

Dear Kraft, Today I was asked a question from my six year old son about the Kraft brand Peanut butter products. he asked me "why is it a bear?" I had no answer, so I looked. I found out a lot about the history of Kraft, about how the peanut butter brand was launched in 1960 with its original teddy bear logo. I read about how it has been changed and updated over the years, about the change from glass jars to plastic containers. I read about the promotional stuffed teddies and the twelve different kinds of Kraft brand peanut butter. I read about the design company that Kraft has been using for years and the loyalty between them. So now I reach out to Kraft to ask, Why a bears logo? why not something else? who settled on bears? Is there more information to this? he believes it is because bears poop peanut butter ( I did not ask his sources, or vet his claims, I've seen "How Its Made" but there is always a step they don't show you, That step is probably the bears pooping. If that is the company secret then I wont expose it, You can trust me, I'm Canadian) While I do enjoy learning the history of the iconic Kraft peanut butter brand products, I really just need to know Why is the logo bears? Who decided that? What is the connection?

Here is their response.

Hi Matthew,

Thank you for visiting http://www.kraftcanada.com.

With regards to your inquiry on Peanut Butter Bears, I'd be happy to assist you.

The symbol of Kraft Peanut Butter remains as the Teddy Bears, Crunchy and Smoothy, who appear on the jar.

Since a lot of peanut butter eaters in Canada in 1960 were children, Kraft wanted to engage the child consumer in the fun experience of eating Kraft Peanut Butter. So two happy looking bears (that look quite different than the bears we have today) were put on the label of the product and also showed up in the advertising to enliven it and make it interesting for the child viewer. Since then, the bears have evolved into more of a teddy-bear rather than the cartoon looking bears Kraft Peanut Butter first started with. These two teddy-bears have come to represent the warmth, comfort, playfulness and good-childhood-memories of Kraft Peanut Butter and still appear on our jars of quality made peanut butter, today.

I hope this information is helpful. Thank you for contacting us and please add our site to your favourites and visit us again soon!

Honestly I was expecting for something a little more fun. But at least I know now.

the ants go marching one by one the little one stops to suck his thumb

and they all go marching down, to the ground, to get out of the rain
