My girlfriend Jojo is in NYC visiting some friends and went down to Best Buy to queue up this morning.
She just sent me a message saying she met the guys and got stuff signed. They all recognised her from Bullet in a Bible, Mike remembered her star tattoos and grabbed her arm to get a better look. Billie Joe held her hand and said he was pleased to hear that she and I are still together, and to say hello to me from him. smile.gif
I'm stupidly excited for her, I hope she's ready for me questioning her on every last detail when she gets back home 😉

i was there, it was absolutely amazing, the best day of my life. i was one of the idiot club winners so i was like the 20th or so people to meet them, i have a bunch of pictures. it was so great. green day is the reason that i am interested in politics, and im going to college to study that, and they have completely changed my life with their music and what they sing about. i told billie joe and mike this and they were so nice! mike said wow, really that is so awesome. and billie joe tilted his head and said awwww, grabbed my hand and kissed it! i asked tre to sign my shoe and the security guard was like NO! only cds can be signed, so i was like tre, he wont let you sign my shoe! and tre was like hurry up and get your foot up here before he kicks both of our butts! and we both laughed, he was so funny. they were all so friendly and great!
btw, if anyone saw me, i was in the leather jacket, aviators on my head, DK striped shirt, and a black backpack, tell me!
I wake up at 4 am, less than 2 hours of sleep. i rush out my apartment by five, because Falyn Ruzzi's twitter said there were over 150 people as of 3 am. i manage to get on line at 545 am. i was def within the first 200, so i was excited. now to wait three hours. the most painful part had to be the sitting on the side walk. difficult on the ass, even with a cusion. by 7 am, the line was around the block. around 8 ish, they started gathering people near the best buy, in a zig zag barrier maze. They sold CD's before 9, and actually, there were apparently about 450 people when they started selling CDs, so me going early was pretty useless, but im glad i was guaranteed a spot. With the CD [i got the special], we were given one wristband [the sticky ones where they cut off] a flyer about the event
