I have a real love for black cats, my first two cats were black. The first one scratched me when I was a kid and I still have the scar, but I totally deserved it. Both of my grandmas also had black cats.Spooky shadow kitties all the way.
When I adopted Bosley she was around 4 months old. She had two previous owners who kept her less than a week and returned her, they said she was aggressive and scratched.
Well she *was* aggressive...for the first week. Then she calmed down as she got used to her new surroundings. Those other people didn't even give her a chance.
It makes me wonder how many cats get returned because people mistakenly believed they would never change.

I'm glad you gave Bosley a good home!
