So what are you doing like are you shooting anybody right now

Nah, I'm essentially a weather guy who analyzes the weather and disseminates forecasts for military bases.

Huh

Didn’t you only make it for a couple days?

I try to predict the weather and notify military bases so they can make operational decisions.

Lol. I'm going on 16 years now

Do you mind if I call you Dave?

Then I can ask "hey where Dave at" and someone else could say "Dave's not here man"

weird thing is I haven't seen where the reference originally comes from I've just seen it referenced in other stuff, that 70s show comes to mind

AAHHHHH

I was in phase one training which is training everyone has to do whether they're going on to become chefs or musicians or whatever. You have to complete 4 weeks of training then between that and the next two months you can ask to be discharged. After those three months you have to do 4 years. Part of me was scared to commit for so long

Oh hey

Understandable. I think two year commitments would ease people's minds a bit. I think there is a cost/benefit situation to it though.

They don't really give you that option in the US Military. You are supposed to serve your contract unless you are forced out.
