They are both great, but something jives with me with Angel. I like that it's kind of the outcasts from Buffy. I'm a sucker for the underdogs and this mess of a team is my jam.

Buffy has always been about growing up, Angel is about being an adult. I think the themes just hit me better because of that.

I like that they took the characters everyone didn't like and made them all awesome

There's this scene early on where a dejected, with nowhere to go Wesley is asked to stick around for breakfast, and it's just Angel Cordy and Him and it's like "aw it's the losers, all together."

Idk I've got to a point where I've realised there were so many turns in life that I shouldn't have taken and now I'm basically doomed to repeat the same mistakes again and again in a joyless existence

It's like Hell, but... actually, yeah, it's like Hell

It's like when people say "oh I wish I'd done that thing in life, things could be so different"

Well I did those things and everything is all the worse for it
