Watching Goblin Slayer today. Enjoying it quite a bit so far, I appreciate its very clear basis in D&D and its tropes

Goblin Slayer, I heard about that one. Is it pretty dark at the beginning?

Yeah, the first episode is pretty disturbing, I could see some people being put off by it tbh. There's no fun and games with the goblins in it. I usually run goblins in D&D to be strangely sympathetic despite their psychotic tendencies, but they're true horribles in Goblin Slayer.

It didn't really disturb me, but I knew roughly what to expect from mild spoilers, and I'm basically desensitised to most stuff by now
