It was going Amsterdam to Chicago but turned back over the uk

It’s so close to Amsterdam airport idk if it’s gonna make it

5k feet but seems to be passing the airport idk what’s happening

2,000 feet over a lake

Ok it’s turned, 2k feet, heading back towards Amsterdam airport

Ok it landed

Phew

Idk what happened. It sent out an emergency alert and turned back obviously

I like this app cause it tells me what the helicopters and planes are when I hear them go over my house

But also I find it quite alarming the amount of emergency alerts that happen daily

Flying is scary

It’s not the flying, it’s the crashing

I love planes and flying

but I don’t like turbulence

I really enjoy flying too, I find turbulence kind of fun

But I'm often reminded that it's not always as safe as it feels
