All 3 seasons are on netflix. The first 2 seasons are connected and feature the same cast/characters/mystery. The 3rd season is a stand alone. I don't know if it's getting anymore seasons. The series began in 2015 and the 2nd season ended in 2016, yet the 3rd season only aired last year.

I have not really seen the 3rd season, I tried to watch the first ep but I found it bad. I did really enjoy the first 2 seasons. The 2nd season got much better reviews than the first(a 92% of rotten tomatoes). I think the first 2 seasons are worth checking out.

Also I remember watching Scream 3 and waiting for the 2nd killer to be revealed and then nope there wasn't one.

The tv series and I think all the other movies had two killers. That I think is part of the fun of the franchise, trying to guess which two people are behind it all. And because there is more than 1 killer there is really no action a character can take to truly prove they aren't the killer.
