That's cool. I did a lot of baseball and basketball. Some floor hockey and then boxing too.

Yeah here if you take hockey seriously you do ice hockey, but mine was more just an after school activity when I was like 8.
My main sport was baseball and then boxing. I guess you could say I did track too, but only to train for boxing.
Originally posted by SurturIn England it's hard to avoid football, or as you call it, "soccer" unless you pick hockey, basketball or rugby. They're all pretty similar anyway. Dribble-ball, stick ball, bounce ball or maul ball. Pick your poison, technically they're all a form of football.

American football is "war ball" or "murder ball" imo.
At my grammar school we used to do this competition called "mini olympics".
One event involved two people per team. They'd each stand a certain distance apart from each other and would have to toss an egg back and forth. Whoever had their egg last the longest without breaking would win.
It's not as easy as it sounds, the egg can break even if you catch it.

I wish I kept in it long enough where I could do things like the caber toss.
Originally posted by SurturDid you get in teams of 6 and stand on crates? You had like 4 crates and six people, could only go forward if the back crate could be moved to the front and no one fell off.
They'd have all kinds of events. Bean bag tossing. Potato sack race. See who could throw a softball the farthest, etc.
There was always the big fatty at the back, lol.

U mean for bean bag toss? There was no standing on crates. IDK what kind of weird bean bag games u guys play.

So u meant potato sack race? No we just...had to hop in a potato sack to the finish line nobody stood on crates.
FFS, YOU STAND IN A LINE ON A ROW OF CRATES. First team to reach all crates to the end, wins. Fall off a crate, your team is out.
Potato sack is another different thing.
