I actually just watched a thing where a mother who lost her baby convinced some criminal friends that a couple who just had a baby had stolen her baby so they “stole him back” for her

But she’d just faked birth cert and stuff to fool them into thinking they’d stolen her actual child

Even the police questioned the actual parents as to whether they’d stolen the child at one point

The police found out the truth and arrested her and the other couple got the baby back
