Wcw had so much potential that is the tragic part. They could have continued to be successful they didnt hand over so much power to wrestlers

Like I've never really watched Jim herd era wcw but I've heard mostly Jim cornette talk about how much he hates him that I'm really intrigued

The earliest wcw stuff I've seen would probably be the war games match between stings squadron vs the dangerous alliance

Also some cactus Jack vs Vader matches from 92/93 where Mick Foley just got murdered over n over

Dangerous alliance included a young Steve Austin and Brian pillman

What is Cornette doing these days

Besides hating Vince russo

I still listen to his podcasts now n then which is all he does these days because he hates modern wrestling, he hates AEW, WWE, he hates trump, hates most things really... But he articulates his hate so colourfully that I can't help but enjoy it

I do recall a recent article where Jericho essentially says he could have gotten him a job in aew if he wasn't such a prick
