When we had our cottage I used to hike our gorge. Now I hike our river. The snows are beautifully layered when you get different snowfalls.

My family had a tradition that was kept up for nearly 30 years where we would go on a hike every year in the morning on Thanksgiving. It wasn't always at the same place, but it was nice.

People got older and couldn't physically do it anymore and my cousins stopped too.
