american football is the dumbest most suicidal sport ever. way worse than even boxing imho.

And they wear all this protective gear too in football and still get all f*cked up it's like maybe stop. It's like having a bullet proof vest that works only half the time.

the "protective gear" promotes further injury, just like boxing gloves promote further injury by prolonging the danger. both were created to prevent surface damage and fractures, but they also serve to cover up underlying injury and keep the game going. that's why such a disproportionate number of football players and boxers end up with permanent brain injury. that's what happens when you have a weekly/monthly concussion

Probably explains why in a sport like Rugby with less protective gear u don't hear about former players committing suicide cuz of brain trauma

exactly. less tendency to ram your head into things without a crash helmet, or take 120 punches to the face in one fight without giving up, because padded gloves

Not sure if he's actually allowed to wrestle but he can look ominous and point at people and get paid so why not

I remember when Sting joined the Wolfpac and it was awesome. It was especially important because he had more or less been a loner once he adopted his brooding persona.

Then Bret Hart beat him up with a baseball bat at Halloween Havoc and when he returned months later he had the white and black makeup and never mentioned being in the Wolfpac again.
