is it wise for you to take psychedelics... seriously?
My mental issues are primarily all trauma-centric due to childhood abuse and grief, so I think they could do a lot of good for me. I took a lot of drugs when I was 17 and they all did more harm than good other than psychedelics, in fact a dose of 100 psilocybin mushrooms took me overnight from nearly dropping out of 6th form / college and being an addict to various chems to a responsible young adult who quit drugs, finished college with awards (and then I went on to get a degree w/ highest honours), and entered into a long-term relationship.
I'm starting to think that my sink back into unhealthy modes of thought and obsessive traits over the past decade might have been averted if I'd occasionally taken psychedelics in the right environment and sensible doses.
Sorry, I've thought on this a lot, so long post is long etc.
What wouldn't be wise would be for me to start taking dissociatives, though, because they can physically damage the brain (lesions), and for people with a history of being prone to dissociated states it can exacerbate those states, make them more frequent, and debilitating
I took ketamine regularly for nearly a whole year and it definitely ****ed me up pretty badly, or at least enhanced my youthful ****ed-upness to a dangerous degree. Glad I got off that stupid stuff

Mate is O.K. in the U.K. as it is non gender specific in London. 🙂

13 days sober from booze and pot now, and this is my fifth day of no smokingI'm surprised it's been such a clean changeover, but thankful

I've known a few cokeheads in my time, I get the appeal because it's so immediately satisfying, luckily I've never had the money to get into it properly. It's good you were able to beat it though! Missing it is definitely normal, I think anything that addictive always kind of lingers.
Yeah man don't worry about me, I learned a lot about how I react to various drugs way back when, I'm planning on only taking psychedelics for a short time and in moderation to see if it can help me straighten my brain chemistry out. I haven't taken any drugs other than pot and booze for years now.
