Well you've got this far, don't worry too much about steps backward until they happen. Then you can do the thing where you accept them for what they are, compartmentalise them, and then keep going as before

I've definitely lost some weight but I only just got my scales so idk how much yet. I'm trying not to use them too regularly mhmm

Yeah don’t focus too much on the numbers. More about how you feel in yourself, cause personally I don’t think you need to lose anything, but it’s about how you feel

Definitely don’t weigh more than once a week

And try to keep it to same time of day as it fluctuates throughout day so much

My main aim is just to fit into certain dresses that I own, I don't think I need to lose much more than a stone. 10.5 stone is roughly my goal

I'll stop weighing myself so much though, I've been doing it a lot just to get used to how much water and food impact immediate weight, it doesn't seem too extreme so that's ok

Clothes are a good way to see how it’s going.

I’ve bought myself a “slim dress”

For when I’ve lost enough weight to comfortably wear it and feel confident

So that’s really my goal, not a number

I did that once. It kinda worked. But then I gave up.
Honestly half my dresser is things that don't fit me. I have four shirts I can wear now. I gotta get my ass in gear

I miss vines.

Vines that really butter my noodle bowl.

The band or the app

Is anyone else here on Goodreads?

I am but I never use it anymore cause I just don’t read anymore since getting depression

Sucks but it is what it is

Ah I'm sorry Piggle. I can empathize. I fell off of reading hard once quarantine hit early last year, it's taken me a little while to get back into the swing of things at a good pace.

I'm similar to you in that way. If I get particularly depressed about a thing, I immediately drop whatever hobby or show or thing I'm into in order to just move onto the next distraction - whatever i was doing before just reminds me of life before whatever bummed me out.

You’re rly good at explaining like how my thoughts do

Your really smart Quincy. Let’s share a similar conversation. Cultural heritage makes a family into a unit. When I accept my place I can make right choices.
