Uh. Americans take sports too seriously.
In Canada football is mostly done in highschool and collage.

Because the Canadian film industry does a lot of tv work. Also because the American audiences can't relate with anything that isn't american. So the film wouldn't have been as big if Americans weren't seeing it. Americans just assume they invented everything. It's like trying to explain something to a four year old. It's a pointless conversation to express why they are wrong and showing them fact doesn't help because they just temper tantrum at us because we are big stupid heads.

Never tell them that Jesus wasn't white or American, that's a shit storm right there.

If they knew that beer was invented in Egypt they would ****ing lose it.
China invented guns and flags.
the statue of Liberty came from France.

Basically, America stole everything and the people said it was all the most American things ever

I will say

#NotAllAmericans.

But unfortunately for the film industry, America plays a large part.

Our ducks know how to act.

Mighty Ducks is great I have all 3 films.

In fact I'm shocked someone hasn't tried to reboot it as a movie or tv series.
