I'm currently reading "The God of Small Things" and for a book club I'm reading "Johnny Got His Gun" which is an absolute miserable experience.

I don't know too much about Amygdalatropolis other than it's some kind of sci-fi / horror, Negative Space is an existential horror about ritual suicide and is meant to be super heavy, Confessions of a Mask is about a strange young Japanese man growing up in pre- and post-war Japan, it came out in 1949 so was very relevant for its time. You should look Mishima up because he's a true immortal madman, he died in the craziest way

The God of Small Things sounds really interesting, let me know how it goes. Johnny Got His Gun has always interested me, one that's on the expansive list, as it were

I'm also slowly working my way through CCRU's Writings 1997 – 2003, and Mark Fisher's K-Punk, as well as dipping into some Roland Barthes and Marx here and there, plus a couple of the Short Introduction series, one on Marx and one on Hegel
