This mobo has a clicking sound. I don't like that. The other one didn't

Are you sure it's the mobo and not an HD? I've had failng HD's make sounds, never a mobo.
Also check your fans

It's a new mobo and processor.

I did all my cable management and my fans are clean as can be.
The ticking Lines up perfectly with the ethernet lights blinking at startup.

It's an asrock.
I wasn't planning on a full high end upgrade. But I ended up having to do more than I wanted. I've never used asrock before. Normally I'm all about that MSI life. But this one was on sale and met the needs without me breaking the bank. If I was still working I would have gone all in.
