both worth a visit, I went to both for the first times when the were very different. The world has honestly changed so much. I guess that's why I am attracted to Africa, it is still the last frontier.

Not worth it. Depends where you go. I will say this much no ****ing grocery stores, well not like we have here where you find everything. My African trip sucked big time because of it, I lost weight going and it made me so edgy looking at fields of dirt. Not to mention those grubby street beggars so aggressive.

If you do decide to go to Africa try South Africa or a more updated country with all the fixings because those little details that may not seem important are.

Btw I did find a grocery store. One in the whole city. The rest were markets were you had to bargain prices in their native tongue.

I am dying to go to Russia or Poland/Ukraine.

I live in Nigeria mate, I've lived in Egypt. I've been to South Africa, in fact most of Africa including places westerners don't go. I don’t really enjoy the first world if I'm honest.

Nice. Had a coworker from Nigeria, nice people. I wasn't referring to Nigeria btw. Did not mean to sound offensively should have been more clear. On our trip to Africa one of my friends (male) was being persuaded by a young teenage beggar. The beggar kept trying to lour us through the shops which seemed like a maze. We kept telling him no don't follow him because he seems to eager to draw him away from us into a bunch of alleyways. It was dangerous and scary because we did not know where we were. I finally told him if you get stabbed or something happens to you it is not our fault and stopped following him. When he noticed we weren't behind him he came back and the teenager boy was furious because we didn't follow him. His pleasantness was now gone and then he started calling on other boys to join him, soon there was a group of boys cursing our group and throwing stones through the market place as we tried to get away.
