The thing that gives the Xenomorph the edge on Yautja tech, as a militarized weapon, isn't the hives themselves but how their genome can be sneakily deployed upon those world's whose lifeforms use that tech and trade routes as cargo, a virus in the water supply, a flesh rotting aerosol form, and an rna sequence that can be coded into cryogenic chambers for hypersleep during long treks, an ageless pathogen lying dormant in a downed derelict sending out distress beacons to be intercepted by unprepared civilian supply runs, or planted as seemingly indigenous botanical habitation on promising extraterrestrial prospects for wayward colonization crews, etc. There's literally no limit on their genomic versatility whereas the weapons tech themselves are rather one dimensional by comparison, all though still possessing the asymmetric advantage relative to earth-tech.
Similarly my UFO tech can do far more than fold space, charge planetary core detonating beams from free vacuum energy, etc.
