I bet my friend 5 bucks i wouldn't even chuckle once throgh the whole movie. Tho we didn't get to finish it, for most of it i didn't laugh once.

Yeah, those parts are meant to be tongue-in-cheek, like, taking the piss, creating characters out of them, rather than just trying to pound out nonsensical funnies, like most comedies.
