Just watched The Parts You Lose 2019 Dir. by Christopher Cantwell starring Aaron Paul

It's about a partially deaf kid who gets bullied and befriends some hobo played by Aaron Paul who teaches him to assert himself. It's really good. Gritty and dark in tone and clearly a short low budget real set type of film. I'd recommend it. You'll find it on Netflix.
