Well, confidence got me jobs, I just couldn't keep 'em.

Confidence is something I struggle with but it's better than what it was. Find interviews nerve wracking tho

I do too. I think confidence comes from:

1. Wanting the job
2. Being confident you can do the job

Primarily, you really want to do the job and know how to do the job. It's how I got a job in sales, I just hated the hours, but sales is something I'm naturally talented at.
