Hold your horses now Rooney was a legend for England and one of the best of the so called golden generation with lampard Gerrard Beckham etc. Top scorer for England, several league titles with United, third all time premier league top scorer, only reason he didn't score more was cause he was dropping deeper to help defensively and build attacks as he got older. Give the guy some respect.

I don't even care for the person he was but on the pitch he deserves his due

I don't disagree but, even with his goals for England he couldn't almost win us tournaments with individual brilliance or pull the needed goal when it was needed like Gary Linekar.

Rooney was an embarrassment for England and you're only referencing Euro 2004 when he was new on the scene. Since he moved to United he was a media highlight in what is known as the biggest cheaters in the Premier League full of glory supporters who mostly only play FIFA because "hey they got good stats" and no. I'm not a LFC fan. I know what was going on and it's funny how on Sunday West Ham will overtake those shit cu nts and they'll get what they deserve.

Rooney was unlucky at tournaments that's true. The fact that England got to semi finals last time over the team they had in 00s is amazing cause then in 2018 and now England team is really poor.
