Idk if it’s cause they’re on tv but they seem way friendlier.. like the families are hugging the surgeon and fist bumping etc

The surgeon has learnt personal stuff about them like their family situation etc

When I went in for surgery they barely spoke to me before, during or after

They just worked around me like I wasn’t awake

I remember there was an issue with my head placement because I was short it wasn’t reaching to the right position for my arms to be on the rests at same time so the nurses tried to get a neck rest to raise my head a bit but they were just going on about it moving me, talking about me like I couldn’t hear them etc without involving me or asking me directly

It was really weird and a bit annoying tbh

Also they made me walk to the operating theatre in my gown, carrying my blanket rather than put me in a wheelchair or something which I didn’t appreciate

Ppl were staring at me

I did the bong thing in 1999, and I think my roommate and his girlfriend lighting up as I drove them from New Hampshire to Connecticut counts as a clambake. The edibles is nowhere close to that kind of an experience. Not that it should be but even the one or two tokes was certainly a different experience than one single 5 mg edible.

Transplants are just rly wild..

It still amazes me that we can take a part of someone else and attach it to a new person and have it work

But how much did you pay?

Because just going into the ER is a few hundred dollars and that isn’t with the doctors doing anything. When they start doing testing and procedures, then it’s the thousands

Oh they did, but he lifted up the wheelchair with his toe and tossed it at the doctor. So don't let him do what he wants.
