Benefits department is so ****ing dumb
Because I’m now living with a partner we have to make a joint claim
Even tho he doesn’t need benefits and he isn’t supporting me financially in any way
And yet living with my dad and sister who supported me more than he ever will but wasn’t required to do anything for that because rules are different for family
Sounds like a really outdated concept like I’m a helpless woman relying on my partner to pay for everything
Because we’re in a romantic relationship there can’t be any way that I support myself still.. No I must be gaining something from his financial situation
