I'd study up a lot on propranolol's side effects before going on it.
I was 3 hours late with a pill and had sharp chest pains. Probably wouldn't be quite as dangerous on someone who's cardiovascular healthy and stable, but it's still dangerous.
Also my average body temperature dropped to 95.9 degrees and didn't return to normal until only a few months ago. That sucked. Hypothermia was always a 1-2 degree drop away.
*Edit* that wasn't a typo. 95.9 degrees for over 3 years after I stopped taking it
