I don't know. Instinct says "no/maybe" but it's probably based on the same potentially biased notion of rehabs that you have to avoid all intoxicating substances (except weed, which is based on newer medical opinions).
If she was a cokehead, meth head, junkie, etc, old wisdom (and probably new wisdom) says that booze is a horrible idea.
I think the reason weed is allowed is because it does not impair judgement or acknowledgement of consequences from actions (going back to hard drugs because "I don't give *hiccup* a f*ck anymore! Weeeee!"😉
