I relate to that a lot. Got this one fly that's been in my room for so long, always in my face and shit, so annoying. Tried to kill it today and ended up smashing my hand up bad on my drawers.

After emerging from the pupa, the adult fly rarely lives more than a few weeks, and serves mainly to reproduce and to disperse in search of new food sources.

Mayflies only live for 24 hours

Normal flies live a bit longer
