He means a friend who happens to be a girl, I think. Might as well just say friend. Calling you female friends girlfriends is gay.

Let me say this once and only once

There's this girl who likes me. Her brother is one of my good friends, and for some ****ed up reason him and his fiancee decided to get me and this girl together. No matter how I explained that I din't want a ****ing relationship, they wouldn't listen, so I just thought "**** it, so what, I'll say I'll go out with her" but still knew I'll be the same person I was before. We do not go on dates, and I do not have any romantic interets in her, but for all intents and purposes, she is my "girlfriend".

Hmm, I didn't really get that, would you explain it for me again?

I got plenty of girls who are friends, I mention them all the time but you wouldn't know since I just say 'friend' for a friend, male or female
