You should have been all "oh shit they gave me a supposed upgrade to an already perfect console that all it seems to do is create a few minor issues with graphics handling and overall performance, making this model far less superior to the regular ps2."

Jealous? You kidding? I've had my PS2 regular for about 8 years now and it's never failed on me once.

I've never noticed any problems with it... it's perfect, and I love the slimline one, much easier to move about and set up.

and my friend had a slimline under a year and it crashed all the time. had to get a replacement.

Pretty much the same time and mine never broke down either, not once!

The only problem really is that I don't actually have a controller or memory card anymore

Luckily my Xbox has never once broke down, I know it's a vast difference in how long I've had it compared to the PS2, but I think I've done good haermm

Although it has recently started deciding when it's going to work at the optimum capacity.

I have a remote.

I really only play my DSlite now.

My xbox never broke, even after it was chucked out of a second story window by my dad 😐

My 360 broke a while back, though
