bloc party are one of the most uninspiring bands to have survived the last few years. Silent Alarm: great album, the rest total waste of time.

I like some of bloc party's stuff and in some ways admire Kele's songwriting but the problem with bloc party is Kele's whiney student persona and perpetual stroppiness. If he goes away for a couple of years then it may offer him the opportunity to mature a bit........
