Well it wasn't that i hated what it did to star trek, i just didn't like the film on technical, and dramatic standpoints. Being a film buff i am very hard to impress, sometimes. One of the the things i didn't like, like i said, was that there was almost no conflict in the movie. Everything was just too easy. "oh man iv'e been marooned on this strange ice planet, oh hey spock you're here too?" "well now that we're on this ice planet together we need to get back to the ship. Oh hey scotty, you can get us back on, no way!!!!"
