Despite his comments, no special episodes of The IT Crowd appeared in any Christmas schedules. On December 18th, Graham Linehan confirmed via Twitter that there would not be a Christmas special.[22] On December 29, he indicated that filming for the fourth series of the show will begin in March 2010.[23]
