in ACT, this training course i was at for which seemed like FOREVER when it was break or lunch or something all the guys in the annex where me and jonny worked on our NVQs would go out for lunch and then the adults in the other building would come over and they would call us 'mad monks' cause were would never go out and always had our hoods up. the only time we left was to mitch off and go home or get food. good times.
i totally get these bands. they sum up my “inner torment”. i feel my parents don’t “get me”. feel like i should get an “extreme tattoo” and “badass piercing”. i wish rock bands still had djs and screamed about their “middle class pain”.
kids these days are all about “building on retro culture” instead of “giving the finger to society” while doing a “mad kickflip” down a flight of stairs. feel like our youth culture needs to learn how to hate again. “pointless negative emotions” are the whole point of being young. post-mgmt kids are all about “fun” and “culture”, smiling while sharing their latest itunes playlist with their “cool dads”. dads arent supposed to be cool. when i am a dad, will my kids like vampy weekend? or will my kids be the generation that learns to hate again? i hope not, i want to be a cool dad. looks like i just “contradicted myself”.
