yes, you have to heat the pan up and put in something to keep them from sticking, unless you have a non-stick pan

oh no i tried putting the sausages in the pan and the water spilt onto the stove and then the fire went big so i turned the gas off and now theres water everywhere and fire and stuff and i should put the fire out but i came here to tell you whats happening and everything smells of gas

open a window and wait like an hour or so
clean up everything, then try again
