Green Day have never been 'garage rock' FHT all came about after a drunken night recording for 21st CB and they decided to make some like 60s garage stuff its not about their image i mean like not many people even know about FHT
at wembley arena Prima Donna who was supporing (the lead guitarist also plays with FHT) kept shouting oh whos going to be at the FHT show and like only a bunch of people cheered or something

this song reminds me of hockey
not the lyrics exactly, except the "bang bang bang bang, vamanos vamanos" part

Come talk to me when you're making sense.

Garage rock is a raw form of rock and roll that was first popular in the United States and Canada from about 1963 to 1967.[1] During the 1960s, it was not recognized as a separate music genre and had no specific name. In the late 1970s, some rock critics retroactively identified it as an early incarnation of punk rock, and it is sometimes called garage punk, protopunk, or 1960s punk; however, the music style has predominantly been referred to as garage rock.
