Discuss the role international film festivals play in creating a discourse of identity for non-Western Cinemas

They introduce shit to the random punters that usually don't get introduced to shit. At the same time, those random punters would never go to a film festival so really film festivals remain a sort of tête-à-tête for the crowds that are into non-Western Cinema anyway.

I read about that but then I didn't but I'll get by

Then stop bitching. I really hate the taskbar for Windows 10. They did improve the Start-menu though.

I also think they're quite overrated. But that is my personal opinion. It's not my intent to kick-off some major discussion involving some posturing about who has the more obscure tastes or can come up with more pretentious superlatives. awehuhs
I dunno, I quite like their name personally. I didn't know they were overrated either, I mean yeah Pitchfork bangs on about them and gives them massive ratings and the like, but overrated seems like maybe the wrong term. Still though, I see where you're coming from, their three albums are all very similar-sounding, but I guess I just like the style and feel of their music. Their next album is meant to be quite different to their other stuff.

They're also lovely people, I went to see them in late 2014 and ended up getting pissed with the guitarist after the show. Proper cool bloke, we're still vaguely in touch.

It's more the doing it without my permission thing that bugs me. And it took two hours while I needed to ****ing use my laptop.
Yeah, that is pretty annoying. Send them an aggressive email and tell them to get their shit sorted

I think they're quite average and I personally think that rating them as above average is overrating them. awehuhs

Might as well, it's not like you're at Cambridge, amirite?

I need to refamiliarise myself with the semiotic definition of discourse

Still, it's maybe a couple of words under the word count

Lecturers don't care about word counts, man. They just put that in there because they have to. They care about the content.
