At first I thought it was because I'm a proper rem, but after speaking to another person who got put on it and our tutor it's basically a new scheme they're working on to help well-performing students get more out of their work placements. So I get paired with a 'mentor', who's going to be someone in the industry, and I'll have weekly meetings with them about how it's all going. Then it can lead to me getting a job straight out of uni, because the people we'll be working with are based in London.
