Listening to the last Deafheaven album, chillin' like a villain.

I've been put into a category of 'exceptional students' by my tutors, no pressure guys thanks for that

Haven't heard that yet, how is it? I still need to listen to Sunbather more, kind of missed out on it when it was getting hyped way back when

Such a brown-nose.

I'm a quiet and attentive student who just happens to be awesome, don't be hatin'

That was 2 or 3 years ago, brev. It's pretty good, it's more traditional in its approach.

I wish I was vaporwave

"California-based metal group Deafheaven's 2013 breakthrough album Sunbather was triumphant and uplifting, even as it dealt with harsh personal issues such as insecurity and alienation. That album's heavily anticipated follow-up, New Bermuda, offers a much bleaker perspective, beginning with the abandonment of joy, expressing feelings of not being able to escape, and ending by envisioning death."

Sounds like my kind of jam

I like the vocals more on this album. On Sunbather I felt like there were a lot of moments that would've been better if they'd been kept instrumental.

Basically I've been put on some weird mentoring program for placement. At first I thought it was because I'm a proper rem, but after speaking to another person who got put on it and our tutor it's basically a new scheme they're working on to help well-performing students get more out of their work placements. So I get paired with a 'mentor', who's going to be someone in the industry, and I'll have weekly meetings with them about how it's all going. Then it can lead to me getting a job straight out of uni, because the people we'll be working with are based in London.

May as well give Sunbather a play whilst I do some essay work
