This is the worst Dutch team I've seen in my life-time though. I'm afraid we'll have another spell like '78 to '88.

Really, half of the Dutch FA needs to be sacked and replaced immediately. This is roughly the same team that LvG got to a third place finish at the last World Cup. It's ridiculous how they're playing now, but obviously the talent is there. Leads me to believe the problem is with the coaching.

Is the talent really there tho like 2010 was their chance now they're going through a transitional period the old stars aren't so great and is there any young Dutch hope a la bale? I don't think so

Janssen scored over 20 goals in his first professional season at the highest level and scored against England in his debut for the national team, so there's hope for him. There's a lot of expectations for Bazoer and Depay was brilliant at PSV. Hopefully he can get over the dip in form he's had during his first season at United. He should just try to go out on loan the next season to get over it, he probably won't get a chance at United.

Even without them, the Dutch team should be able to qualify for a tournament easily. Most of our players are in the BPL, Bundesliga or La Liga. If teams like Albania, Wales or Iceland can, we should be able to as well, even without stars like Robben.
