Plus my accent actually does sound quite posh, which is weird considering my dad has a Scouse accent and my mum generally is quite cockney

Yeah, I definitely fall in the Southern category most heavily. The only problem is that for some reason, I go more broad Northern when I'm in London. All "Now then" and "Y'allreet?"
