Pretty much except instead of being here it can be Twitter and we use it as as one account like a crazy guy with multiple personality disorder.

It could promote kmc and bring in like minded members or just be a total mess and left abandoned

How does a place with over 150,000 registered members not already have a social media account?

Like 2% of that number are regular contributers so that's probs why

That and the admin has pretty much been absent since like 2008 with rare appearance here and there
