I was in the bus shelter across from where the gym is and had beat whoever put flareon there before, I put a 10cp abra in then kept beating it to up the prestige of my gym then they pulled up to take my gym on the bus stop, firstly, illegal much? Secondly tho I don't think they saw me. Then bus came so they had to move to the pub car park, maybe I overstepped the mark, whatever that means, because I approached their car like some creeper and was like "oi you stealing my gym mate?" It was two kids and their dad was just getting a cigarette and looking quite scary. They were fighting my low level abra as I was trying to up the prestige then they did beat it but I was able to put another Pokemon there before they could, probs pissed them off, but it was another low level caterpie so before I walked away I said you can have it i just put a caterpie there. Then I walked off and noticed they didn't bother they just left it.

Well no I meant like..at least from what I remember of the cartoon sometimes the people you'd win gym badges from were adults and sometimes they were kids or teens. I guess for some reason I thought Pokemon Go and the augmented reality part was like..a side part and that the game had a storyline.
Then again my main exposure to the cartoon was in the late 90s and only on school days because in the mornings there was nothing good to watch before school.
Though my mom did force me to take my little brother to the theater when that movie with Mewtwo first came out.
