Do you like Chewie Lewis and the News? Their early work was a little too New Republic for my tastes. But when Revenge of the Sith came out in '05, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole movie has a clear, crisp look, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the scenes a big boost. George Lucas has been compared to Steven Spielberg, but I think Lucas has a far more bitter, cynical outlook on life. In '15, Star Wars released this: The Force Awakens, their most accomplished movie. I think their undisputed masterpiece is KYLO KILLS HAN. A scene so heartrending, most people probably don't look at the subtexts. But they should, because it's not just about the tragedy of fratricide and the killing off of a major character - it's also a personal statement about the direction of the new trilogy itself.
