But I'm not really qualified to speak about this that much, I'm still forming a proper opinion of it from as many sources as I can. I'm a very skeptical person generally and don't like to buy into anything too quickly. All I have to go by right now is personal experience.

Rape cultures do exist, but they are usually in 3rd world countries or countries with a heavy Muslim population. It doesn't happen in every Muslim dominant country, but it's prevalent in a lot.
I'd like women in the USA to go live in these countries for a while. I think they do a disservice to every single woman who has been raped when they pretend like our culture overall doesn't look down upon rape. I personally find it disgusting and harmful. I legitimately feel any female in the USA who propagates this should be ashamed of themselves. Nobody would know the name "Brock Turner" in a rape culture, because we wouldn't care about it.
I mean the wage gap lies are one thing, but to lie about something as serious as rape? It just disgusts me to no end.
Basically there is a gap, but it's an earnings gap, not a wage gap. What you earn per year depends on the hours you put in. Men statistically put in more hours. That is why they earn more.
So there is a gap, but it has nothing to do with paying women less just because they have a vagina. In fact in the sciences and math women are more likely to get jobs now. Men are actually under performing in colleges compared to women.
We face a lot of issues, the suicide rate among men is much higher compared to women. But we live in a "patriarchy" so these things are just not talked about that much.
