I do wish we(as a society) could indeed take a break from the political shit now that the election is over. But it's not going to be possible to break from that until people across the country stop protesting the outcome of the election.
But luckily you weren't asking me to get society itself to take a break, so it's all good.

Anyway no more politics from me, I don't want to get sucked into it because I'm pretty fed up with the world generally at the moment and all of the combined negativity of the internet is getting to me

Although I'm also taking a break from the internet due to uni work, I'm getting more of it piled on so spending a lot of time on here isn't a good idea really
But generally being on facebook and message boards and any article with a comments section is so depressing, everyone has their opinions and nobody is open to changing them or working together, even on this music group on facebook that was pretty cool for a while devolved into "X band is overrated and you're shit if you like it" stuff all the time. Like can't people just get the **** along? Yeah sure "being a dick is fun" for the person doing it but jesus ****ing christ it's obnoxious and so ****ing pointless and I'm sick of it, sick of it all I tell you!
