i wrote it! and I'm in it briefly!
But do to the fact that our equipment wasn't up to the standards they should've been (our school is cheap in the film department so most of our equipment is about 10 years old) ... some of the quality is lacking, especially in the audio department
the poor video quality adds to the "public broadcasting" style charm I was going for. Like, I want this to look like something you'd see on some random public access channel at 3:30am on a monday morning. Luckily our video quality kinda went to that automatically. It's not horrible, but it's not amazing.
yeah it adds to the absurdity of the subject matter which is kinda why i don't 100% hate it and I actually love it and kinda consider it one of my goodest works.
I was there for the entire editing process, but I specifically edited two parts of the documentary. I think my editing style is pretty distinct so we'll see after I show y'all if you can guess which parts I edited
Because we get great content from actual food professionals, and then we researched the history of both and got some amazing information for both histories
so it's like the actual meat of the documentary is good creamy content
it's just framed around this absurd/surreal public access debate show, hosted by Axel.
