well i passed my test then for a few weeks maybe months tried a few cars that i was thinking of buying, then i just never bought a car and didn't feel like i wanted to drive anymore. i don't think i was ever that confident driving, felt like a fluke when i passed my test tbh

I myself never drove (grew up in NYC) till after i joined the Army at 23.
First thing i ever drove was a 6,000lb forklift. That was a blast.

Heard similar many a time from people who've lived in NYC, it's normal to not own cars/drive; it's walking, biking, taxi or public transport. Seems so strange to me; not driving.
